Checklist for Questions SHOULDN’T be Asked (from students)
□ Basic information of the company can be found on the website
For example: What characteristics do you need for a good job?
Reason: These questions reveal that you didn't really understand the company before the interview, and you seem insincere, which will only leave a bad impression on the interviewer.
□ Questions that have nothing to do with the work
For example: Are there many girls in our company?
Reason: These questions, which have nothing to do with the job, only make the interviewer feel that the interviewer cannot provide more value for the company.
□ Questions that are hard to be answered
For example:
1. Why does your company cut staff? Or who are my competitors?
2. How do you think XX market will develop in the future?
3. Why don't you choose to change jobs?
Reason: HR can't answer these questions, whether it's for the benefit of the company or for personal reasons.
□ Questions that are related to salary or welfare
For example: How much salary will I get for the first year?
Reason: Unless formally employed, the salary, benefits and salary negotiation of the company will never be presented to the candidates. Similarly, the questions related to sick leave and vacation cannot be asked. Don't ask any of the above questions unless the other person has already hinted that you will get the job. It will make you feel like you can certainly enter this company.
Checklist for Questions COULD be Asked (from students)
□ Career development direction
For example:
1. What is the future development space of this position?
2. How does the company assess its employees?
3. What do you want me to achieve most in the next few months?
Reason: Asking questions related to their own career development can reflect that the interviewer is a person with career planning and long-term goals, and will feel that the interviewer is not an instant company interview, but a very high expectation of the post.
□ Company Culture
For example:
1. Does the company have training for technical posts?
2. How does the company encourage old employees?
3. What do you like best about this company?
Reason: Because these questions can help the interviewer decide whether he or she is willing to work for the company, and also help the interviewer decide whether you can integrate into the company's culture. In addition to the direction of career development and corporate culture, interviewers can also ask questions about the company's development direction.
